The Ever After

Okay, so, we all know, that Junior Highs most likely have some sort of Drama Club- some sort of play. And, let it be heard, I signed up for Drama Club. Little did I know, auditions were more stressful, and open than they were last year, in Middle School. This year, we (being the students who auditioned) stood on stage in groups, and read through part of the script. Then...the scary part. Each auditioner (haha, my word) was to stand on the auditorium stage and actually, finally, AUDITION for the part he/she wanted. Me? I decided to audition for Mama in Man of the House.

My friends commented on my performance as "Great, you did awesome!" and "I'm sure you'll get the part!" But, to my misfortune, I wasn't cast as "Mama". Nor was to be in "Man of the House". I looked the cast list over *sigh*. My name was nowhere to be found. But, next to the results for was yet another Cast List- for a play called The Ever After. I scanned, scanned as far as the eye could see. And my finger stopped. My name. I found it. The words next to my name, read...Evil Queen. Whoa. I blinked, and read it over again. Yep, there it was. "Madison" was next to "Evil Queen".

But, no matter what my part, no matter in what play, I am blessed that I get to be part of the stage performance. Some of my friends have smaller parts than I do, and I am constantly told to be an optimist, not a pessimist. So, with that being said, I got my script, and I read it over. I smiled. This. Would. Be. FUN.

Half-and-Half Drawing

This is the drawing I did for art- the one where you had half of a picture, and you had to draw the other half. At first, I thought this was going to be easy. But I was proven wrong. Talk about complicated! All my friends around me had great work, while my colors clashed. My parents thought it was "excellent" and "wonderful" and "great" while I thought it was a piece of "junk." I didn't think it was too great, but it also wasn't too bad.

How it Turned Out

And this is how my art project turned out! Keep in mind that the table and back wall are actually colored...the scanner just made them lighter. Anyway, this was really fun to draw. Compare it with the actual picture!

Art Project

Well, as we all know, school rquires art projects. Which means work. So, I was required to draw my favorite snack. Honestly, I didn't know what at first. But I soon thought...hey! Why not Burger King fries? Sadly, they are too complicated to draw. Later on, I decided to draw Mickey D's fries. Now, this is the cool part--I didn't really know what they looked like! So mom had to buy me some fries. :) Anyway, I used this picture to do my drawing. It turned out awesome!

Lovely Wilderness

This is a picture of a flower on the pond at my aunt and uncle's house. I love going down there every father's day. It's so beautiful and peaceful. And that's the time when my family gets together. We have a wonderful time every year.

Dalton in his OSU Uniform...

This is a picture of Dalton in front of his OSU fat head. Dad took about 5 or so pictures of Dalton. The football he is holding is the football he got me for Secret Santa. You can tell because it is pink (and black). I don't know where I was...probably in my room or somewhere else. Anyway, this picture is awesome, isn't it?
